With the continuous enhancement of environmental awareness, electric forklifts, as a new "darling" in the industrial field, have attracted widespread attention from the public due to their environmental protection, energy conservation, and responsive characteristics. Electric forklifts use batteries as the handling power and control the lifting and moving of animals through electric motor drive. Compared to internal combustion forklifts, it has higher operational flexibility and safety.

1、 Charging precautions

Lithium ion forklifts are favored by many industries due to their advantages such as pollution-free use, multiple application scenarios, and fast charging. But when choosing a lithium-ion forklift, it is advisable to choose a reputable manufacturer to provide professional and high-quality lithium-ion batteries and forklift services.

(1) During the charging process, the battery temperature will increase by about 10 ℃, so it needs to be carried out below 45 ℃;

(2) After using the forklift, it is necessary to replenish the battery in a timely manner, otherwise it will shorten the battery life.

(3) During the charging process, the forklift cover needs to be opened to facilitate heat dissipation and exhaust during battery charging;

(4) The fully charged battery should be left for 1 hour before being put into use;

(5) Batteries need to undergo balanced charging and maintenance every half month to about a month. Batteries that have been stored for a long time and are not in use should be recharged once a month.

2、 Daily use of batteries

When starting a forklift, the engine should be started first and then the power should be connected. If the power is turned on before starting the engine, the battery may be damaged due to voltage fluctuations. Regular inspection: Conduct a battery inspection at least once a month, including battery appearance, electrolyte height, electrode connections, etc. If any abnormalities are found, they should be dealt with promptly.

Electric forklifts have received widespread attention due to their environmental friendliness, energy efficiency, and responsiveness. When using lithium batteries, they should be placed in a dry, ventilated environment without direct sunlight, avoiding direct sunlight and rain, and away from heat sources. The charging time and temperature should be within an appropriate range, and the appropriate charging current should be selected for charging. When starting a forklift, the engine should be started first, then the power should be connected, and the battery should be checked regularly.

3、matters needing attention

3.1 Before use, please read the manual and follow the procedures/methods specified in the manual for use and operation;

3.2 Unauthorized personnel without training are not allowed to use lithium-ion vehicles;

3.3 In case of collision, rollover or other accidents, please stop using the vehicle and contact after-sales personnel for maintenance as soon as possible;

3.4 Do not disassemble the vehicle battery without authorization;

3.5 Do not directly connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery with metal objects or cause a short circuit in the battery;

3.6 Do not step on, forcefully tap, puncture with sharp objects, or use other external forces to operate the battery;

3.7 Do not put the battery into fire or heat it, keep away from open flames;

3.8 Avoid contact with corrosive substances such as seawater, saltwater, strong acidity, and strong alkalinity;

3.9 If there is any abnormality in the battery, please mark it and store it separately. The storage area should have a safe distance or be isolated by flame-retardant walls.
